What you can do on each device
Drawing, writing, sheets, diagrams and running Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby and Lua all work on a phone, tablet or in a web browser with nothing else. Terminals, coding agents, project folders and compiling code need a computer: the desktop app, or your own computer paired through Circuit.
On the device by itself
Any deviceFree
- Draw, sketch and handwrite in a Notepad or on a whiteboard.
- Make sheets, flowcharts and other diagrams.
- Write and run Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby and Lua in a CodeBook. Python comes with around 240 libraries built in, including numpy and pandas.
- Run code steps written in Go, Rust, C, C++ or Zig once they have been built.
- On iPhone, iPad and Android, keep files on the device itself; on iPhone and iPad, in iCloud Drive too.
With Circuitry's AI
Any devicePaid plan
Ask for a sheet, a diagram, a design or a workflow from any device, and the AI makes it in a document you can keep editing by hand.
In the desktop app
Desktop app
The desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux has a computer's tools built in: terminals, project folders on your disk, command-line coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI, Python running at full speed, and building Go, Rust, C, C++ and Zig. It does not need Circuit.
From a phone or tablet, with your computer
Phone or tabletYour computer (Circuit)Paid plan
Pair the device with Circuit on your computer and the same tools work from your iPhone, iPad or Android:
- terminals and coding agents that run on the computer, mirrored live on every device you open them on
- the files and projects on the computer's disk
- compiling code, and Python libraries the device doesn't have
- the computer's GPU and AI models running on it
Pairing happens on the same Wi-Fi; Home Circuit keeps the computer reachable when you're away. If you have no computer to leave running, a cloud Circuit gives you a Linux machine to work on instead.
