Make a website and put it online
Design the page yourself in Designer and export it as HTML, or describe it in the Ask box and an AI agent writes it: one page is a single HTML document, a whole site is a project of files. Circuitry does not host websites, so to put one online you upload the finished files to a web hosting service.
Say what to build, and where to open it
When an AI agent writes the page, name what it is for and say where to open it, so the agent builds it and opens it rather than only describing it:
Build a one-page site for my bakery with opening hours and a map, and open it in the browser.
Build a landing page for my yoga studio and open it in the HTML editor in Circuitry on my phone.
The browser shows the page as visitors will see it; the HTML editor shows its code with a preview, so you can see and change what was written.
Design it yourself in Designer
Any deviceFree
- Open a Designer document and lay out each page on its own artboard.
- Switch to Preview at the top to see the page as a browser will show it.
- Choose File → Export Artboards… and pick HTML. Several artboards at once come out as one ZIP of pages.
Ask for one page
Any devicePaid plan
- Type the page into the Ask box, for example:
Build a one-page site for my bakery with opening hours and a map, and open it in the browser.
- If Ask asks where it should live, choose HTML document. One page needs no project.
- The agent writes the page and opens it in a browser tab beside the chat. Ask for changes in the same chat.
A whole site, on the desktop app
Desktop appYour own AI
A site with several pages, a form or a back end is a set of files, so it lives in a project folder.
- Choose File → New Project and pick a folder.
- In the Ask box, pick your coding agent and describe the site.
- The agent writes the files in that folder and opens the site in a browser tab so you can check it.
A whole site, from a phone or tablet
Phone or tabletYour computer (Circuit)Your own AIPaid plan
- Pair the device with your computer. See Connect your phone or tablet to your computer.
- Open a project on that computer, pick a coding agent installed there, and describe the site.
- The agent builds it on the computer, and the site opens in a browser tab on your phone or tablet.
Put it online
Any device
- Upload the exported files, or the project's files, to a web hosting service you use.
- In a project, you can ask the coding agent to do the upload with that hosting service's own tools.
- To show someone a design before it is online, press the Share button, choose Get a link, then Create link. Anyone with the link can view the design in a browser, without an account.
