Connect your phone or tablet to your computer

Install Circuit on your Mac, Windows PC or Linux computer, then scan its QR code from the Circuitry app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device while both are on the same Wi-Fi. You pair once; after that the device reconnects on its own, and Home Circuit lets it reach the computer when you are away.

  4. Choose Scan QR Code and point the camera at the code on the computer.
  5. On iPhone and iPad, tap Allow when asked to find devices on your local network. Android asks for the camera instead.

If an iPhone or iPad won't connect

  • You tapped Don't Allow: open the device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and turn on Circuitry.
  • It is already on but still says you're offline: turn it off and on again, then close and reopen Circuitry.
  • Some office and guest networks stop devices seeing each other. Try a home network or a personal hotspot.
