Claude Code and Other Coding Agents

Run the coding agent you already use, inside Circuitry, connected to your documents.

A coding agent is a command-line assistant with its own account and its own way of working. Circuitry installs it, connects it to your documents, and lets you use it from a chat or a terminal, on any device paired with your computer.

Commands in a coding agent's chat

Type / to see what this chat offers.

CommandDoes
/modelPick the model the agent runs on. /model default goes back to the agent's own
/effortHow hard it thinks
/clearStart the conversation over
/mcpTurn this chat's MCP servers on or off
/agentsChoose a team

To change which agent the chat uses, use the picker in the chat header.

Anything else you type after a / goes to the agent. Not every agent answers its own commands in the chat view, so if one doesn't work, try it in the agent's terminal.

Chat or terminal

The terminal button in the chat header switches between the two views of the same conversation.

  • Chat view: you type in Circuitry's composer, and its steps and replies appear in the chat. This view can use agent teams.
  • Terminal view: the agent's own interface, with its own commands. Vim mode works here.

Choose the model it runs on

In the chat view:

  • Claude Code, Antigravity CLI, OpenCode, DeepSeek Harness and OpenClaw offer their models in the chip under the composer. On a phone, type /model.
  • Codex CLI, Gemini CLI and Qwen Code take a name: type /model followed by the model's name.

Your choice is remembered for each agent on this device, so your next chat with that agent starts on it. Choose the default, or type /model default, to go back to the agent's own choice.

In the terminal view, the agent's own commands, such as /model, set the model. The agent decides what it remembers.
