Use Circuitry for free

With a free account you can make sheets, diagrams, drawings, designs, documents, CodeBooks and workflows by hand on any device, and Ask opens ready-made sheets and CodeBooks for you. AI that builds for you comes with a paid plan, on every device; Apple Intelligence answers questions on a supported Apple device.

Make things by hand

Any deviceFree

Every editor works on the free plan, on a phone, a tablet, a computer or in a web browser:

  • Sheets with formulas, whiteboards and diagrams, designs, and notes you can draw and write on.
  • CodeBooks: write code in cells and run it on the device.
  • Workflows: build them on the canvas and run them in the editor.
  • A browser tab to open and view web pages.

In the Ask box, ask for the thing itself, such as "a new sheet" or "a flowchart". When a request needs AI and none is set up, Ask offers Just the sheet (or diagram, or document) and opens it blank for you to fill in.

Ready-made sheets and CodeBooks from Ask

Any deviceFree

Some requests open a finished document straight away, with no AI involved. Type one into the Ask box:

  • Sheets: "profit and loss", "cash flow forecast", "invoice", "budget".
  • CodeBooks that draw a picture: "Mandelbrot set", "Julia set", "Lorenz attractor", "Sierpinski triangle", "sine wave", "3D surface plot", and more.

The sheet comes with its formulas in place; the CodeBook comes with its code ready to run.

The desktop app

Desktop appFree

The desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux is a free download from the Downloads page. It adds project folders on your computer, a code editor and terminals.

AI that builds for you

Any devicePaid plan

Circuitry's AI uses the large models (ChatGPT, Claude and Google's Gemini), which know more and build whole documents, apps and sites for you. It comes with a paid plan, needs nothing installed, and works on every device you sign in on.

Apple Intelligence for answering questions

Phone or tabletDesktop appFree

On an iPhone, iPad or Mac that supports Apple Intelligence, Circuitry uses it to answer your questions in the Ask box, on the device. Its model is small: it knows less than the large models and can reason through simple things, so try it and see how far it gets. It does not build documents. See Apple Intelligence for the supported devices.

If you already use other AI tools

Desktop appYour own AI

A coding agent you already subscribe to, your own API key or a model on your computer can be connected from Set up AI… on the Ask box's chip. On the free plan it can chat and write code in a project; having it change your sheets, diagrams and designs needs a paid plan. See Use an AI subscription you already have.
